NEET SEAT ALLOTMENT 2019

NEET 2019- The National Test Agency (NTA) has decided to conduct the NEET 2019 only once in a year. The DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will be releasing the NEET 2019 Seat Allotment. The NTA will announce the NEET result on 5th June 2019 and NEET seat allotment process will be done after the announcement of NEET 2019 result. Through NEET examination applicants will get admissions in Medical colleges both Government and private for the courses of BDS and MBBS in all over India. MCC (Medical Council Committee) will issue the tentative schedule for the online counseling process at the official website in the second week of June 2019. The Committee will be conducting the online NEET counseling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed and Central Universities. The state-level counseling will be conducted separately by the state counseling authorities for 85% State Quota Seats. NEET Seat Allotment 2019:

The applicants will shortly receive an email or SMS after the counseling of NEET 2019 that containing the brief information about the NEET Seat allotted for college and course. Physical attendance of the applicant is required by the particular college within the specific day and time given by the conducting authorizes. Applicants need to confirm their NEET Seat allotted by remitting the course fee and those who will not do so, not get any seat and their seats will be given to other applicants.

The NEET Seat allotted for MBBS/BDS are filled through NEET UG all over India. The seats are filled in the following categories:

  • All India Quota Seats

NEET 2019 Counselling process:

As per the notification, the registration process for the NEET Counselling 2019 is starting from the second week of June 2019. For that applicants need to register themselves for the counseling process and fill up preferences for their admission and after that applicants will be allotted seats accruing to their merit, rank, category and seat availability. Once seat allotment process done applicants have to report at the allotted college or institute within the specified time period. Seats that remain vacant after the first round counseling will be allotted to other applicants in the second round of NEET counseling 2019. The counseling result will be issued only on the official website of the university.

Few new changes announced for NEET 2019:

  • Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have combined 15% AIQ system but from now onwards applicants belong to these states need not submit the Self Declaration form for NEET 2019.

  • Applicants have to show any ID proof during verification as Aadhar Card is not compulsory to fill the NEET Application Form 2019 from now onwards.

  • NEET UG exam is compulsory for Indian applicants who want to take admission in MBBS/BDS courses.

  • No. of attempt limit for NEET examination has been removed now.

  • The State Open School, NIOS or private students’ are not applicable to give NEET examination 2019.

  • One set for NEET exam question paper will be available in all languages.

  • The NEET examination will be bilingual from now (except the English language).

NEET Seat Allotment 2019 Process Round 1

After the round one of NEET 2019 counseling the applicants who have been allotted seats in round 1 must have to report at medical or dental institutes for document verification and completion of admission procedure. If the Applicants are not satisfied, they asked for up gradation for seat allotment in their next round 2. While reporting at allotted colleges, applicants have to furnish listed below documents for verification purpose.

Documents Required for Counselling:

  • NEET 2019 Scorecard

  • Mark Sheets

  • 10th & 12th Passing Certificate

  • NEET 2019 Admit Card

  • NEET 2019 Rank Card/Rank Letter

  • Category Certificate (If Applicable)

  • Birth Certificate

  • Six Passport size photograph

  • Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, etc)

NEET 2019 Seat Allotment Process Second Round

The applicants who will again have to register for NEET 2019 counseling and they need to select preferred college & courses.  After the result of NEET seat allotment round 2 eligible applicants who have been allotted seats in round 2 have to report at allotted medical or dental colleges for further admission process.

Who are eligible for NEET Seat Allotment 2019 for Second round?

  • Applicants who were not allotted seats from the first round.

  • For those applicants whose seat allotment was canceled due to change of reserved category to unreserved. These applicants are the ones whose documents did not match the criteria of the reserved category during the verification process.

  • For those applicants who reported at the allotted institute in Round one and asked for second round upgradation

Who are not eligible for NEET seat allotment 2019 Second round?

  • The one who did not report at the allotted Institute during the first round.

  • The applicants who have withdrawn themselves from the allotted Institute during the first round of allotment.

  • Due to change in the category some Ineligible applicants

  • Applicants who have not opted for up-gradation during the 2 round.

NEET Seat Allotment 2019 Important Points

  • Applicants fail to provide the original documents will result in disqualification from the NEET seat allotment 2019 process.

  • Applicants who have deposited their certificates in some other institutes and come for admission with a certificate stating “their original certificates are deposited with another Institute” will not be granted for admission.

  • The applicants who have confirmed their allotment in the first round can opt for up-gradation for better seats in the next round of seat allotment.
