NEET ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2019- As per the NEET Eligibility criteria notification released by NTA, only those candidates who will meet the eligibility criteria parameters can be able to sit in the examination. The Indian Medical council fixed the lower age limit of 17 years for MBBS programme and upper age limit of 25 years for general category students and 30 years for SC/ST category students is now approved by the Hon'ble supreme court. Candidate must pass Class 12th or equivalent examination by scoring qualifying marks in English, Physics, chemistry, and Biology individually. In addition, scoring an aggregate of minimum 50% in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics is also mandatory for unreserved category candidates. The test will be conducted by NTA as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time. NTA, the regulatory body of NEET changed the NEET eligibility criteria 2019 first time. NEET 2019 Registration process is closed on 8th December 2018 and exam will be held on Sunday, 5th May 2019 in one shift. 10+2 from state or centre board.
Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English is main subjects.
Minimum percentage required in PCB (category wise)for comes under NEET 2019 Eligibility criteria:
For General Students: 50% Marks
For Reserved Category: 40% Marks
For PWD Category: 45% Marks
For NEET 2019 exam they have to meet all the requirements which come under NEET Eligibility Criteria 2019. They must be completed their studies which are equivalent to 10+2 Qualification with physics, chemistry, biology, and English from other countries.
Overseas and Indian students who are from India and wants to pursue the medical course from abroad need to qualify NEET 2019 EXAM.
Students with year gap are eligible for NEET 2019 exam.
15% All India quota seats are reserved for those candidates who qualify NEET 2019 exam.
Candidates who belong from Jammu and Kashmir is not eligible for 15% all India quota seats, however, if candidates fill the self-declaration form while filling the NEET application form becomes non-eligible for their state seats.
Candidates who fill the self-declaration form will be eligible for private/deemed university, ESIC, AFMC colleges.
Candidates can give NEET exam twice in a year for the first time, however, Only one attempt for NEET exam is allowed in one session.
For students who have completed their matric and intermediate (10th and 12th) from Delhi University and Aligarh Muslim University are eligible for 85% seats reserved in Delhi and Aligarh Muslim University.
Result awaited candidates are eligible for NEET 2019 exam but at the time of first round of counseling if they do not clear the exam then they are not eligible for admission.
If any information provided by candidate found false such candidates exam shall be canceled and the criminal proceeding may be initiated by authorities.
In State Quota Seats 85% seats are reserved in State/UT Government colleges, for proving eligibility for State Quota Seats, students have to meet the eligibility criteria of each authority of state and union territories. Counseling for these seats is conducted by the concerned authority.
In 2018, the admission authority had issued an information brochure of NEET (UG) exam and it's explained that aspirants with a physical disability were eligible to apply for NEET exam but in this year there is no clarity for physically disabled students.
