NEET 2018 Question PapersNEET 2018 Question Paper – NEET 2018 was held on May 6 from 10 am to 1 pm and the question paper is available in the codes AA/BB/CC/DD, EE/FF/GG/HH, II/JJ/KK/LL, MM/NN/OO/PP, QQ/RR/SS/TT and WW/XX/YY/ZZ. By solving NEET question paper 2018, aspirants can get an idea of the structure of offline entrance test. Importance of NEET 2018 Question Paper

NEET question paper 2018 and previous years’ question papers can be used for the preparation of the upcoming entrance test.

  • Understanding exam structure – With the efficient use of NEET question paper 2018, candidates can stay informed about the structure of entrance test and NEET exam pattern.

  • Speed and accuracy level – By solving NEET 2018 question paper, candidates can prepare to complete the entrance test within the allotted period of time. It will help in increasing the speed and accuracy level of aspirants.

  • Analyse their preparation – After solving the question paper of NEET 2018, applicants can check their preparation status and can work on their weaker sections.

  • Calculation of expected scores – Once NEET question paper is completed, candidates can check the solutions provided with it. Through the answer key, aspirants can calculate their approximate scores to be secured in the entrance test.

NEET 2018 OMR Sheet

CBSE will release the OMR sheet of NEET 2018 along with the answer key in the fourth week of May. Candidates can view the answers marked by them in the OMR sheet released online and compare them with NEET 2018 answer key.  They will be able to challenge NEET 2018 OMR sheet by logging in using registration number and password. Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 1000 per question in order to challenge the OMR sheet.

NEET 2018 Answer Key

NEET 2018 answer key will be released for all four sets of question booklets having codes EE/II/MM,FF/JJ/NN,GG/KK/OO, HH/LL/PP provided during the exam. While the official answer key of NEET 2018 will be made available in the fourth week of May 2018, coaching institutes such as Allen Kota, Aakash, Resonance and Career Point wil also publish unofficial answer keys soon. Based on NEET answer key 2018, candidates can analyse their performance in the examination. On occasion of any discrepancy in the answer key as well as the OMR sheet, students can challenge the same within prescribed timelines and by paying the requisite fee. 

NEET Exam Pattern 2018

For preparing for NEET 2018, candidates must be aware of the exam pattern. The exam pattern of NEET 2018 provides complete information on the structure of the entrance test. Check basic NEET 2018 exam pattern below.

Mode: The exam will be conducted in pen and paper based mode (P&P).

Duration: Only three (3) hours will be allotted to complete the entrance test.

Number of questions: NEET 2018 question paper will consist of 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs).

Total marks – The complete entrance test will be of 720 marks

Distribution of questions – In the question paper, 45 questions each will be from Physics and Chemistry sections, while 90 questions will be from Biology.

Language – Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Oriya, Kannada and Telugu

Marking scheme – Candidates will be awarded 4 marks each for every correct response.

Negative marking – 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer

Syllabus – The questions in NEET 2018 question paper will be based on the concepts of class 11 and 12.

NEET 2018

NEET 2018 is an offline entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical courses offered by the government as well as private/deemed medical and dental colleges of India. As per regulations of the Supreme Court of India, NEET scores will be used for admission to medical and dental colleges of India. From all government medical and dental colleges, 15% seats will be reserved for All India Quota seats, which will be allotted through Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The remaining 85% state quota seats will be allotted by common centralised counselling, conducted by state counselling committee.
