JIPMER Exam Pattern 2019

Introduction: The JIPMER 2019 is conducted by the Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Puducherry and accordingly the body has declared the eligibility criteria for the respective entrance exam. The JIPMER exam pattern 2019 is given below to give the idea of the exam pattern as to how the exam is formulated for the candidates these years. The application form of JIPMER 2019 will be released on March 6th, 2019 with 12th April, 2019 being the last date to apply. JIPMER 2019 thereby will be held on 2nd June, 2019. The JIPMER exam pattern 2019 has been designed according to the JIPMER exam pattern of the last year. JIPMER is a national level entrance exam held for candidate to get admissions in Under Graduate medical MBBS courses. The admissions are offered by the JIPMER Karaikal & Puducherry campuses.   • Exam Mode: The exam will only be conducted through online (CBT) mode.

  • Time Duration: The total time duration of the exam is 150 minutes.

  • Shifts for Exam: JIPMER 2019 will be conducted in two shifts, i.e. morning shift and afternoon shift.

  • Medium/Language of JIPMER 2019: The medium of the examination is English.

  • Questions (Type): The type of the questions will be MCQs.

  • Marking Scheme: Candidates will be awarded with 4 marks for each correct answer in JIPMER 2019.

  • Negative Marking: No provision of negative marking is present in the JIPMER 2019.

  • No of Questions: The total number of questions asked in JIPMER 2019 is 200 distributed in the following subjects
