Applicant’s age has to be or will be 17 years as on the 31st of December on 2019 o are eligible for admission.
Applicants, who born on or after 2nd January 2002 are not eligible to submit the application form for AIIMS 2019.
Academic Qualification Criteria:
As per AIIMS eligibility criteria 2019, applicants have to pass the class 12th/Intermediate Science (I.Sc)/Higher Secondary Education (HSC)/ Intermediate Science (I.Sc)/Senior School Certificate Education (CBSE) or equivalent examination from a recognized board/university of their respective states.
It is mandatory for the applicants to qualifying the class 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects and they are eligible for AIIMS 2019.
Applicants who are appearing for class 12th examination in this year are also eligible to apply for AIIMS 2019 but they have to qualify the exam with required percentage of marks in the entrance examination.
Minimum Marks Required
The criteria for minimum aggregate marks achieved in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from the qualifying examination are as given below:
For General and OBC category- 60% marks aggregate marks.
For SC/ST/PWD category- 50% marks aggregate marks.
For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
The Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) application listed under the section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are eligible for this exam and need to submit the document stating the same. They can also avail the benefits specified for the Indian nationals.
For Foreign Nationals
The government of India selected the applicants to belong to the foreign nationals are only eligible for the AIIMS, New Delhi. They have to score at least 50% marks in qualifying examination to meet the eligibility criteria for AIIMS 2019. As foreign applicants nominated by the Government of India are not compulsory to appear in the Competitive Entrance Exam.
