SSC CHSL 2019

Staff selection commission(SSC) is a central government recruiting agency that conducts recruitment to fill vacant positions in Grade B, C, and D. SSC conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination to fill the vacant positions in Grade C and Grade D. Every year millions of candidates appear for SSC CHSL Exam. This is one of the most sought examinations conducted on 10+2 level as this exam provides stable, highly respectful jobs along with the reputable working environment. The recruited candidates get posted at various ministries and post offices across India.

SSC CHSL Notification

The SSC CHSL 2019 Examination is going to be notified in the first week of March 2019 whereas the date of the examination will be in the month of July. Working under the Government of India itself is a perk. Five days working in a week, Vacation leaves, Earned leaves and other facilities provided on the job makes these jobs highly lucrative. Following are the positions to be filled by SSC CHSL exam are:

  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

  • Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2019:

Age Criteria
Candidates must be 18 to 27 years of age as on August 1, 2018
i.e. candidates born after August 2, 1992, and before August 1, 2001, are eligible for SSC CHSL
Educational Criteria
Must have passed “Intermediate/10+2/Higher Secondary Exam”
Nationality
A candidate must be:
a citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee who came to India, before January 1, 1962, to permanently settling in India, or
a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settling in India are eligible

SSC CHSL Application Process 2019:

SSC accepts CHSL application through online mode only. Candidate can apply for SSC CHSL using the official website staff selection commission.

Important points regarding the application process are mentioned below:

  • Online application of SSC CHSL starts from 5th March 2019

  • Online application of SSC CHSL closing date is 5th April 2019

  • Official website of Staff Selection Commission: www.ssc.nic.in

  • The online application fee for SSC CHSL Exam is 100 Rs.

  • All the female candidates, SC/ST category, Physically Handicapped category, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee.

  • Payment mode for SSC CHSL Exam fee is Net banking, Credit card, Debit card or Bank Challan.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2019:

SSC CHSL examination is conducted in three stages –

  • Tier I (Objective Test of 200 marks)

  • Tier II (Descriptive Test of English Language)

  • Tier III (Typing Test)

*You have to score at least 33% in this paper in order to qualify in Tier II.

The Tier – III Examination will be qualifying in nature and candidates who have qualified in both Tier I and Tier II will be able to sit for this stage of the SSC CHSL Examination 2019. This will be different for the SA/PA posts and the DEO Post.

Please note that your selection in this examination will be based on your marks in Tier I and Tier II Examination. The marks obtained in Tier III will not be considered for final selection.

SSC CHSL Admit card 2019:
  • Admit card for the SSC CHSL Tier I, Tier II and Tier III will be released separately. The Admit cards will be released before one week to the date of the respective examination.

  • Admit card can be downloaded from the official website of SSC i.e. ssc.nic.in

SSC CHSL Results and Final Cutoffs 2019:

The results of SSC CHSL exam is declared through the official website of SSC only. Following are the important points regarding the results of SSC CHSL Exam:

  • Results of SSC CHSL Tier I:

SSC declare the cutoffs of SSC CHSL Tier I exam after its computer-based examination. The cutoffs are declared category wise. Candidates who score above the declared cutoff will be shortlisted for the SSC CHSL tier II exam. A merit list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official website of SSC.

  • Results of SSC CHSL Tier II:

The results of SSC CHSL Tier II exam is declared on the basis of minimum qualifying marks secured in the written exam. In order to qualify the exam, candidates need to score at least 33%.

  • Results of SSC CHSL Tier III and Final cutoffs:

The result and final cutoffs of SSC CHSL exam are declared on the basis of Skill test done in Tier III. The candidates get qualified through the last stage by maintaining minimum typing error in the skill test.
