SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2019

State Bank of India is the conducting body of SBI PO 2019, and they have prescribed the SBI PO eligibility criteria. According to the eligibility criteria of SBI PO, candidates who aspire to join as a Probationary Officer in the State Bank of India, must hold a graduate degree or equivalent qualification from any of the recognized University. The final year/semester candidates are also eligible to apply for this post. There is also age relaxation for those candidates who belong from the reserved categories. SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 includes few details like age limit, nationality, educational qualification, number of attempts, pass percentage etc. Candidates who are preparing for this examination must fulfill the eligibility criteria of SBI PO 2019 before applying for the same.

It will be conducted in three phases: Prelims, Mains and Group exercises & Interview round. The application process for this SBI PO 2019 is expected to start in third week of April. Age Criteria:

Age Limit

Candidates must be under 30 years or more than 21 years as on April 1, 2019.

Date of Birth

Candidates should have been born not later than April 1, 1998, as well as not earlier than April 2, 1989

Age Relaxation

Candidates who belong from the reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-servicemen/Domiciled will be given age relaxation according to their respective categories.

Note: Candidates debt in loans/repayment of the dues or against whom, reports of CIBIL are filed are not eligible for appointment in the State Bank of India. Also, those persons against whom reports have been filed regarding behavior or violation of standard/community will also not be eligible for applying in SBI.

Educational Qualifications

The academic qualifications required for SBI PO 2019 are mentioned below:

  • Candidates should be at least a graduate or equivalent from a recognized University or by the Central Government.

  • Candidates who are in their final year or semester of the graduation can also apply for this post, but they have to produce their proof of passing the graduation exam on or before August 31, 2019, at the time of interview.

  • Candidates who have an integrated dual degree certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before August 31, 2019.

  • CA candidates can also apply for SBI PO 2019.

Number of Attempts

As only appearing in SBI PO Prelims exam will not be counted as an attempt. So, here are the number of attempts, according to the different categories: General Category-4, General PwD Category-7, OBC Category-7, OBC PwD Category-7 and for SC/SC (PWD)/ST (PWD) Category there are no restrictions on the number of attempts. It should be noted that those candidates who have crossed the number of attempts are not eligible to appear in SBI PO 2019.
