Introduction: SBI being the authoritative body will release the official notification of SBI PO 2019 and that will consist of the SBI PO application form, exam date, time etc. and the whole process of the exam. SBI will take the application process forward from 3rd week of April 2019. The candidates can apply before or on the last date mentioned for the SBI PO application form 2019 filling and payment.

The written part of the SBI PO examination is to be completed in 2 tiers- preliminary exam and main exam. Only the qualified applicants of the prelims exam who clear the cut off will be eligible for the SBI PO Mains exam. And similarly the qualified candidates after clearing the mains exam cut off will be eligible for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round.

SBI PO 2019 Eligibility Criteria:


To appear for SBI Clerk 2019, a candidate must be any of the following:

  • Citizen of India

  • Subject of Nepal/Bhutan

  • Tibetan refugees who are permanently settled in India prior to January 1, 1962

  • Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from either Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Zaire, or Zambia with the intentionality of residing permanently in India.

Academic Qualification

  • Graduate or has equivalent degree in any disciplines from a university recognized by the Government of India.

  • Candidates belonging to the General category must score minimum 60% marks. Whereas there is a relaxation of 5% for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

  • Results of all the respective qualifying examinations a candidate has indulged in should be declared by or before August 2019.

  • Degree/ Diploma or any other certification for computer systems is required or computer as a subject 9th or 10th standard.

  • Proficiency in UT/State language, chosen by the candidate.

  • English speaking and writing should be proficiently done by the candidate.

Age Limit:

  • Lower limit of General category is 20 years whereas Upper limit is 28 years, as on August 1, 2019.

  • The age relaxation, according to the category of the candidate as per IBPS norms, is formulated below:

How to Fill SBI PO Application Form:

SBI PO Application form is to be available at the official website of State bank of India i.e.

Documents required while filling SBI PO Application form:

  • Valid email id

  • Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph/signature

SBI PO Application form filling process:

  • The available website is to be utilized for the SBI PO application form 2019 filling.

  • The candidates need to register on the given space for SBI PO to start application form process.

  • The candidates need to provide following details:

  • Personal details- name, father name, mobile number etc

  • Educational details- mark in qualifying exam etc.

  • The candidates will then be provided with a provisional registration number & password.

  • The candidates need to then use the registration number and password which will be used to edit and modify the application form. Only 3 attempts to edit are provided.

  • The application form will be able to edit after the payment.

  • Scanned copies of recent photograph & signature need to be uploaded in the application form in the specified format.

  • Photographs should be taken in color and not black & white.

  • Black ink pen should be used for signature and not to be written in capital letters.

  • Candidates are required to fill in the graduation percentages till 2 decimal points. The percentage entered needs to be the aggregate of all the marks of the exams in the graduation period.

  • The candidates belonging to PWD category should notify that will they be using the scribe or not which needs to be arranged on their own scribe and at their own cost.

  • As and when the details are entered and verified by the candidate, the candidate then needs to pay the application form fees.

  • The fee payment can be paid through options like- Credit card/ Debit card / Internet banking.

  • Successful fee submission provided an e-receipt and the application form then gets generated.

  • In the case of payment failure, candidates need to login again and try to make the payment again.

  • The candidates need to take the print out of the application form for future reference.

  • The candidates in the later stage can print the e-Receipt and Application form containing fee details.

 Rs. 600/ + transaction charges applicable

For SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates

 Rs. 100/ + transaction charges applicable

SBI PO Admit Card 2019: The SBI PO Admit Card 2019 is to be released around 3 weeks before the day of the examination and interview. Candidate who all are registered successfully will be able to download the admit card via online mode from the official website where the link is provided. No hard copy will be sent to candidates.

With the admit card candidates will get a booklet which can be downloaded by them.
