SBI Clerk Question Papers 2018 – Exam Pattern

As per the SBI Clerk exam pattern released by SBI, the recruitment process for selection of candidates to clerical cadre posts in SBI will be held online. The recruitment exam will be held in two stages – Prelims and Mains. Candidates who have filled SBI Clerk application form 2018 can check the exam pattern of both preliminary exam and main exam below.

SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2018

The preliminary exam of SBI Clerk 2018 recruitment will be held only in online mode. SBI Clerk prelims is scheduled to be held on June 23, 24 and June 30. The prelims exam will have 100 multiple choice questions asked from English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. For each correct answer in prelims exam, candidates will be allotted 1 mark each. The questions in SBI Clerk prelims 2018 will be set bilingually i.e. in both English and Hindi except for the English Language section. Candidates must solve SBI clerk question papers that have been designed as per the exam pattern of prelims exam.

SBI Clerk 2018 Mains Exam Pattern

The mains exam of SBI Clerk recruitment 2018 will be objective type questions and will be conducted online. SBI Clerk main exam 2018 is scheduled to be held on August 5. The main exam will have 190 questions asked on General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. Each section in SBI Clerk 2018 mains exam will have separate timings and candidates will be required to complete the exam in the given time. Candidates will have to secure qualifying marks in all sections as decided by the bank to qualify the mains exam. Also, there will be negative marking equal to 1/4th of the marks allotted to a question for every incorrect answer.

Test of specified opted local language

As per the exam pattern of SBI Clerk 2018, candidates will have to produce 10th standard marksheet/certificate showing that they have studied the specified opted local language. The candidates who successfully prove having studied the local language will not be subjected to an additional language test. Candidates who fail to produce a certificate will have to appear for and qualify a language test. This test will be conducted before final selection but after SBI Clerk mains exam. Candidates who fail to qualify the test would be disqualified.
