IBPS PO Result 2017 declaredInstitute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the result for the preliminary examination of Probationary Officer (PO)/Management Trainees (MT) recruitment on November 1. The IBPS PO result 2017 has been declared online and candidates can check their result with their registration number/roll number and date of birth/password. Candidates who have qualified the preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the mains exam scheduled to be held on November 26, 2017.

IBPS PO prelims 2017 was held on 7, 8, 14 and 15 October. Candidates who qualify IBPS PO prelims will be issued IBPS PO admit card for the mains exam. The admit card for mains is expected to be released by the second week of November, 2017. The IBPS PO result for mains is expected to be declared in December.

The third stage of IBPS PO selection procedure i.e. personal interview will tentatively be held in January/February, 2018 and only those candidates who qualify the mains exam will be called for interview. Provisional allotment will be completed in April 2018.

According to the IBPS PO exam pattern, mains exam comprises letter and essay writing in addition to Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, English Language and Data Analysis & Interpretation. A total time of 3 hours and 30 minutes will be given to the candidates for attempting 157 sequestrations (30 minutes will be allowed for English Language). Final selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks secured by them in the mains exam.
