IBPS Clerk Mains Exam held successfully today

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on January 1, 2017 has conducted the Mains Examination of IBPS Clerk. Thousands of candidates shortlisted through the Prelims Examination have appeared for the exam today. The Mains Examination of IBPS Clerk was conducted across various centres throughout the country. The overall level of the exam was moderate. Candidates qualifying the exam securing the overall and sectional passing marks will be shortlisted for provisional allotment. No untoward incidents have been reported from any of the exam venues of IBPS Clerk exam. The result of IBPS Clerk Mains Examination will be declared in January, 2017.

IBPS Clerk 2016 Result

IBPS will announce the result of IBPS Clerk Mains Examination in January 2017. Each candidate who will obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Main examination and also a minimum total score will be considered for provisional allotment. Prior to the completion of provisional allotment process scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates.

Process of arriving at the scores of the Mains Examination

  • The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equi-percentile method.
  • Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations

IBPS Clerk 2016 Cut off

Aspirants apart from securing the minimum qualifying marks will have to secure the desired cut off score. The Cut off will be decided by IBPS and will depend on the number of state/UT wise vacancies.
