The candidates who are interested to appear for APSET 2017 will have to apply and complete the online registration process. The candidates will have to fill the online APSET application form 2017 to express their desire for participation in the recruitment. Applicants will also have to check the eligibility conditions put forth by Andhra University before filling the application form. The applicants will have to ensure that they fulfill the prescribed APSET eligibility criteria 2017 before they fill the application.
The stage 2 of APSET Selection procedure is for the candidates who successfully fill the application form and satisfy the eligibility conditions. The written exam of APSET 2017 consists of three papers that will be conducted offline. The question paper of the exam will be objective and the exam will have multiple choice for each question. Candidates will have to qualify the written exam as per the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the exam conducting authority. The minimum qualifying marks for each of the three papers of APSET are as given in the table below.

Andhra University will declare the APSET result 2017 in August 2017 (tentatively). The result will announce the names of all the candidates who will qualify the written exam of APSET 2017 as per the minimum qualifying standards. The candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam will be declared as SET qualified and appear for the next round of APSET selection procedure 2017 and those who clear all the subsequent stages will be considered for inclusion in the merit list.
All the candidates who will clear the written exam of APSET 2017 by securing the minimum qualifying marks will be called for document verification by concerned authorities of Andhra University. The authorities will check if all the claims made by the candidates in the application form were true by checking their original documents and certificates. If a candidates does not produce his original documents in the document verification or any information as mentioned by him does not match his documents, he/she will not be allowed for further participation in the recruitment process.
The last and final stage of APSET selection procedure 2017 is the merit list or the candidates who qualified the written examination. Candidates will be declared as SET qualified if they pass the written exam of APSET 2017 with minimum qualifying marks but that will not entitle them to final appointment at the aforementioned posts. Candidates will have to secure high rank in the merit list of APSET 2017 along with the minimum qualifying marks to be shortlisted for final selection. Top 15% of the candidates in the merit list will be shortlisted for appointment at the post of Assistant Professors and lecturers.
