TS EAMCET 2019 (Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test) will be organized by JNTU Hyderabad which is a state level entrance test organized for admission in the various UG courses. It will be organized through online mode. Admissions will be offered to various courses like;

BE, B.Tech, B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech. (BioTechnology), B.Tech (FT), B.Tech (Diary Technology), B.Sc. (CA & BM) (MPC), B.Pharm. (MPC) and Pharm-D (MPC).

Eligibility Criteria of TS EAMCET 2019

Eligibility: Candidates should be an Indian Citizen or PIO/OCI card holders and must belong to Telangana/Andhra Pradesh and should fulfill the local/ non-local status requirements.

Age Limit:  Minimum age limit is 16 years by the date of commencement of admission for pharmacy & engineering courses, whereas, for other courses, the minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission & maximum age limit is 22 years (25 years for SC/ST).

Qualification: Candidates should have passed or appearing in 12th, diploma in engineering or equivalent exam with PCM subjects for Engineering, B.Tech (DT, AG & FT). Candidates must have passed or appeared in 10+2 or equivalent exam with PCB subjects securing 45% (40% marks for reserved categories) for B.Pharmacy.

Courses Offered

B.Tech

Only those candidates will take part in the TS EAMCET 2019 who will fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed for the concerned courses. Eligibility criteria will be different from the eligibility criteria set for TS EAMCET 2019 (Agriculture and Medical). Fulfilling of following two parameters are necessary for all the aspirants, irrespective of the fact for which course they are going to apply for:

  • TS EAMCET will allow only Indian citizen, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO).

  • The aspirant must be resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh and should fulfill the status of Local/Non-Local defined by the Educational Institutions.

For Engineering, B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Pharmacy (M.P.C) and Pharm D courses:

  • The aspirant must be qualified in Class 12 or equivalent exam with MPC (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) or should be appearing in the qualifying exam

  • The aspirant must have Diploma in Engineering from State board of technical education training, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh or have passed in any other exam which is considered equivalent to this or must be participating in the final exam of any such programme.

  • The aspirant must be of 16 years before the start of admission in these courses. Age of aspirant should not be less than 17 years for Pharm D.

  •   For B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (FT) and B.Sc. (CA & BM) courses the age of the applicant must be between 17-22 years on Dec. 31, 2019. Relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit for SC and ST category candidates.

  •   For B.Tech (Biotechnology) Course candidates should have qualified Class 12 or equivalent exam with BiPC (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry) as optional subjects or should be appearing in the qualifying exam and should have completed or appeared in the bridge course in Mathematics form Telangana or Andhra board of Intermediate education.

B.Sc

  • TS EAMCET will allow only Indian citizen, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO).

  • An aspirant must be resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh and should fulfill the status of Local/Non-Local defined by the Educational Institutions

For B.VSc & AH/B.Sc. (Honours) Agriculture/B.Sc. (Honours) Horticulture/B.Sc (Forestry)/BFSc/BTech (FT) courses:

  • The aspirant must have qualified Class 12 or equivalent exam with stipulated subjects for the concerned course.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture: Vocational Course in Agriculture; Agriculture; Biological or Natural Sciences; Physical Sciences (Any 2).

B.Tech. in Food Technology: Mathematics and Physical Sciences; or Physical Sciences and Biological or Natural Sciences (any one group)

B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture: Physical Sciences; Vocational Course in Agriculture; Biological or Natural Sciences; Agriculture (Any 2)

B.F.Sc.: Vocational Course in Fishery Sciences; Biological or Natural Sciences; Physical Sciences (Any 2)

B.Sc. (Forestry): Physics; Chemistry; Biology or Mathematics; Physics; Chemistry; Biology (any one group)

B.V.Sc. & AH: Biological or Natural Sciences; Physical Sciences

All the course mentioned above aspirants need to appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry subjects and the age of the applicant must be between 17-22 years on Dec. 31, 2019. Relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit for SC and ST category candidates.

B.Pharm

  • Only Indian citizen, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO) can take part in TS EAMCET 2019

  • Aspirants must be resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh and should fulfill the status of Local/Non-Local defined by the Educational Institutions

For B.Pharmacy (BiPC) and Pharm D (BiPC) courses:

  • The aspirant must have qualified Calls 12 or equivalent exam with BiPC (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry) or should be appearing in the qualifying exam.

  • Aspirants whose score will be less than 45% in specified subjects will not be considered eligible, for SC/ST aspirants their score should not be less than 40%.

For B.Pharmacy (M.P.C) and Pharm D (MPC) courses:

  • The aspirant should have qualified Class 12 or equivalent exam with MPC (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) or should be appearing in the qualifying exam

The aspirant must be of 16 years before the start of admission in this course. Age of aspirant should not be less than 17 years for Pharm D.

TS EAMCET 2019 aspirants will have to fill the Online form which is made available in the first week of March. Candidates are supposed to fill and submit it along with the required soft copies before the deadline fixed for this purpose.

The process of filling TS EAMCET Application Form

To apply online, the Registration Fee Registration fee of Rs. 800/ will be the first step (for SC/ST candidates Rs. 400) can be paid with Debit/Credit card or by Net Banking. Candidates who cannot pay online can visit TS (AP) online centers and pay there. The applicant should fill the required information in the provided boxes and upload photo and signature as per the specification is given in this regard. A form can be submitted after checking all the provided information. After submitting the form applicant should take printouts of the online filled form for their future reference and a copy of it will be submitted during the exam.

In order to perform better have knowledge of exam pattern of TS EAMCET 2019 and marking schema will be beneficial for the applicants. The exam pattern will give information about stipulated time, sections, no. of question, Medium etc.

Exam Mode: Computer-based examination will be conducted.

Medium: Question paper mode of language will be in English, Telugu or Urdu languages (as applicable).

Duration: Total three hours.

Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions. Each MCQ has one of the choices as the

correct answer out of four given.

Marking Scheme: Each correct response will score you one mark.

Negative Marking: For wrong answers no negative marking.

Mock Test

JNTUH releases the mock test for TS EAMCET for the participants. Mock test will give participants a real like feeling of the exam. After taking part in Mock test of TS EAMCET 2019 candidates will be well prepared for the real exam. With the help of their login id and password, candidates can give mock test. After login name and picture of the candidate will be visible on the top right corner of the computer screen. Candidates can contact invigilator if name and picture shown on screen don't match with theirs.

Admit Card

Hall ticket is a very important document for taking part in TS EAMCET 2019. Usually, it is released in the april third week. Once it is available for downloading candidates should download it from the website of TS EAMCET and keep it safely till the admission process is over.

Result

TS EAMCET 2019 result will be declared by the end of May month. Participants can check their TS EAMCET score by entering information of Registration Number, Hall ticket of TS EAMCET and their date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format in corresponding boxes provided on the Result page of TS EAMCET 2018.

In TS EAMCET only those candidates will be considered eligible for taking admission who will score at least 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking purpose. There will be no minimum qualifying marks criteria for SC/ST candidates. Conducting body will normalize the score as per the pre-decided formula. With the help of the combined score obtained by normalized score (75% weightage) and Marks scored in relevant group subjects (Namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology) order of merit will be prepared. After considering few facts like no. of participants, cutoff trend the Cutoff for TSEAMCET 2019 will be decided. Only those candidates will get a chance of participating in the counseling process whose score will be equal to or more than the determined cutoff.

Selection Process

On the basis of participants Rank in the TS EAMCET 2019, choices made by him/her and available seats they will be allotted the seats. After allotment process is done participants can check the status of allocated seat and institute by logging in the site of TS EAMCET 2019 and download the allotment paper and report to the college for taking admission within the stipulated time.

How to effectively prepare?

  • Time management is the key to success for TS EAMCET preparations, prepare a good time table and prepare accordingly.

  • Make sure you don’t forget previous year question papers and mock test along with the TS EAMCET books, to analyze your performance.

  • Revision is a must before three to four days of the examination; students should revise the entire syllabus.

  • Do meditation and yoga for better concentration towards your studies.
