AP EAMCET 2019 conducts a Common Entrance Test known as-‘Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test’ (AP EAMCET). For engineering courses is expected to be held in the month of April 2019. The common entrance exam is for admissions into various private and government colleges of Andhra Pradesh. It will be organized through online mode. Admissions will be offered to various courses like;

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility: Candidates should be an Indian Citizen or PIO/OCI card holders and must belong to Andhra Pradesh and should fulfill the local/non-local status requirements.

Age Limit: Minimum age limit is 16 years by the date of commencement of admission for pharmacy & engineering courses, whereas, for other courses, the minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission & maximum age limit is 22 years (25 years for SC/ST).

Qualification: Candidates should have passed or appearing in 12th, diploma in engineering or equivalent exam with PCM subjects for Engineering, B.Tech (DT, AG & FT). Candidates must have passed or appeared in 10+2 or equivalent exam with PCB subjects securing 45% (40% marks for reserved categories) for B.Pharmacy.

Only those candidates will take part in the AP EAMCET 2019 who will fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed for the concerned courses. Eligibility criteria will be different from the eligibility criteria set for AP EAMCET 2019 (Agriculture and Medical). Fulfilling of the below two parameters are necessary for all the aspirants, irrespective of the fact for which course they are going to apply for:

  •  AP EAMCET will allow only Indian citizen, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO).

  • The aspirant must be resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh and should fulfill the status of Local/Non-Local defined by the Educational Institutions.

For Engineering, B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering)

  • The aspirant must be qualified in Class 12 or equivalent exam with MPC (Mathematics, Physics Chemistry) or should be appearing in the qualifying exam and

  • The aspirant should have in Engineering from State board of technical education training, Andhra Pradesh or have passed in any other exam which is considered equivalent to this or must be participating in the final exam.

  • The aspirant should be of 16 years before the start of admission in these courses. Age of aspirant should not be less than 17 years for Pharm D.

  •     For B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (FT) and B.Sc. courses the age of the applicant must be between 17-22 years on Dec. 31, 2019. Relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit for SC and ST category candidates.
  •   For B.Tech (Biotechnology) Course candidates should have qualified Class 12 or equivalent exam with BiPC (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry) as optional subjects or should be appearing in the qualifying exam and should have completed or in the bridge course in Mathematics from Andhra board of Intermediate education.appearing

 AP EAMCET 2019 aspirants will have to fill the Online form which is made available in the first week of March. Candidates are supposed to fill and submit it along with the required soft copies before the deadline fixed for this purpose.

The Process Of Filling Application Form

Registration: To apply online, the Registration fee of Rs. 800/ will be the first step (for SC/ST candidates Rs. 400) can be paid with Debit/Credit card or by Net Banking. Candidates who cannot pay online can visit AP (AP) online centers and pay there. The applicant should fill the required information in the provide boxes and upload photo and signature as per the specification given in this regard.

Filling of AP EAMCET 2019 application form: Form can be submitted after checking all the provided information.

Print AP EAMCET 2019 application form: After submitting the form applicant should take printouts of the online filled form for their future reference and a copy of it will be submitted during the exam.

Exam Mode: Computer-based examination will be conducted.

Medium: Question paper mode of language will be in English, Telugu (as applicable).

Duration: Total three hours.

Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions. Each MCQ has one of the choices as the correct answer out of four given.

Marking Scheme: Each correct response will score you one mark.

Negative Marking: For wrong answers no negative marking.

Mock Test

 JNTUH releases the mock test for AP EAMCET for the participants. Mock test will provide participants a real like feeling of the exam. After taking part in Mock test of AP EAMCET 2019 candidates will be well prepared for the real exam. With the use of their login id and password students can give mock test. After login name and picture of the student will be visible on the top right corner of the computer screen. Candidates can contact invigilator if name and picture shown on screen don't match.

Admit Card

Hall ticket is a very important document for taking part in AP EAMCET 2019. Usually, it is released in the April third week. Once it is available for downloading candidates should download it from the website of AP EAMCET and keep it safe till the admission process is over.

AP EAMCET result will be declared by the end of May month. Participants can check their AP EAMCET score by entering information of Registration Number, Hall ticket of AP EAMCET and their date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format in corresponding boxes provided on the Result page of AP EAMCET 2018.

In AP EAMCET only those candidates will be considered eligible for taking admission who will score at least 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking purpose. There will be no minimum qualifying marks criteria for SC/ST candidates. The conducting body will normalize the score as per the pre-decided formula. Through the help of combined score obtained by normalized score (75% weightage) and Marks scored in relevant group subjects (Namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology) order of merit will be prepared. After considering few facts like no. of participants, cutoff trend the Cutoff for AP EAMCET 2019 will be decided. Candidates whose score will be equal to or more than the determined cutoff will get a chance of participating in the counseling process.

Selection Process

On the basis of participants rank in the AP EAMCET, seats will be allotted. After allotment process is done participants can check the status of allocated seat and institute by logging in the site of AP EAMCET 2019 and download the allotment paper and notify to the college for taking admission within the stipulated time.
