AEEE Exam Pattern 2019- Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth University is the conducting authority for the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination commonly known as the AEEE. Through AEEE the eligible applicants can get admission in the UG Engineering courses offered by its 4 campuses Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Coimbatore. The AEEE is a national level entrance exam which will be held through both online & offline mode. Applicants who have qualified the JEE Main can also apply for the admission and they will be exempted from appearing in AEEE 2019 examination. These applicants can be able to get admission through the valid JEE Main score. The registration process has started from 19 October 2018. After the registration process, the applicants will start their preparation for the AEEE 2019 to get scores. Before starting the preparation applicants need to go through the AEEE Exam pattern 2019 for better understanding. AEEE Exam Pattern 2019: Mode of Examination

The application form can be filled either through online and offline mode in for the AEEE exam 2019. During the registration process, applicants need to choose the mode of examination according to their wish. The AEEE Examination is held through both Computer Based Exam Mode (CBT) and Pen and Paper Test (PPT). The one who will select both will automatically be rejected for the examination.

AEEE Exam Pattern 2019: Language of Examination

As per the guidelines issued by the conducting bodies the mode of examination will be the English language for both the offline and online mode. The AEEE exam will not be held in other religion languages.

AEEE Exam Pattern 2019: Duration of Examination

The Duration of Examination of AEEE Exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes. Applicants must do their preparation according to finish the examination in the prescribed time to finish the paper. The Computer-based examination will be held in three-four days in 3 slots so applicants can be able to book the slot during the time of registration process. The offline examination will be one day only. Applicants must do the time management while preparing the previous year question paper for better results.

The Section in AEEE Examination

As per the notification, AEEE examination comprises of three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The various questions will be asked in each section and applicants have to attempt all sections. The AEEE exam questions will be multiple choice questions (MCQs).

Marking Scheme for AEEE Examination

Applicants will be rewarded with 3 marks on every correct response. The negative marking will be applicable in AEEE Exam 2019. One mark will be subtracted for every incorrect response in the exam. Below table contains the distribution of question marks in each subject.

Important Instruction for AEEE Examination

  1. 4 options (A, B, C, and D) will be there for each question and applicants need to mark the one as a response.

  2. The answer that is marked more than one option will not be considered and as the result, 1 mark will be deducted.

  3. Re-Allotting or rechecking options is not available for the examination.

  4. OMR Sheet will be provided for the PPT so use the blue or black ballpoint pen only to enter the details.
