My question is how ratio can a physical quantity. In my understanding physical quantity must have magnitude (a number) and unit but sometimes ratio doesnt have any units.

Simliarly how just a scalar can be a physical quantity if theres no unit associated.

Guide me a good defination of physical quantity.

Basic Definition - A physical quantity is a physical property of a phenomenon, body, or substance, that can be quantified by measurement Neither the name of a physical quantity, nor the symbol used to denote it, implies a particular choice of unit, though SI units are usually preferred and assumed today due to their ease of use and all-round applicability.  for instance, say someone tells you...

In the anion   the two carbon-oxygen bonds are found to be of equal length. What is the reason for it?

• Option 1)

Electronic orbitals of carbon atom are hybridised.

• Option 2)

The bond is weaker than the bond

• Option 3)

The anion   has two resonating structures.

• Option 4)

The anion is obtained by removal of a proton from the acid molecule
